On-Site Sewage Treatment and Disposal Study, USCGS Station Desting, Florida
Rogers Engineering subcontracted with Ardurra to perform an evaluation of the existing on-site sewage and disposal systems (OSTDS) serving the US Coast Guard Station in Destin, Florida. The Station includes three (3) existing OSTDSs, one serving the kitchen, barracks, and marina pump out station. The Station was interested in replacing these systems with either a single advanced OSTDS with nutrient removal or a single conventional septic tank system. The station is located on Okaloosa Island with the existing drainfields adjacent or near the entrance to Choctawhatchee Bay.
